What our Customers say
EXCELLENTTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Exceptional Service and Results from Damp Guard! We arrived in Portugal during what turned out to be the wettest winter on record, with water infiltrating our home through broken roof tiles a persistent musty, mildew smell would not go away. We were understandably concerned, but Jay and Roel came out immediately to assess the situation. They reassured us that, although we had a roof leak to address, our home was absolutely not a lost cause. They referred us to a trusted contractor to resolve the roof issues and got to work designing a customized solution to tackle the excessive humidity and stagnant air throughout our home. They spent four hours thoroughly inspecting the home, discussing potential solutions, and developing a plan tailored to our home’s specific needs. Their attention to detail and thoughtful approach immediately gave us confidence that we were in good hands. Just a few short weeks later, they meticulously installed the units while we were out of the country. They even left our home cleaner than they found it! And, the results have been remarkable. Our indoor humidity has dropped from over 90% to around 60–65%, even on the rainiest days. The units are discreet, surprisingly quiet (no louder than a refrigerator), and have had very little impact on our electricity bill. What impressed us, just as much as the results, was the people behind the service. Jay and Roel are professional, punctual, thorough, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. They took the time to understand our concerns, explain our options, and deliver a solution that made a real difference in our home. We cannot recommend Damp Guard highly enough! If you’re struggling with humidity, condensation, musty smells, or dampness in your home, do yourself a favor and give them a call. Five stars, without hesitation!Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great job ! We called on them to solve a damp problem in our house. After receiving a quote within 24 hours, which we accepted immediately, the installation of two CMV machines was completed three weeks later. The two owners, Roel and Jay, were extremely professional and kind and we now have a dry house with no damp or mold... Excellent service, they will go the extra mile to secure you are happy. They came back 2 times after delivery due to an issue with higher noise than anticipated. They tried first with a rubber damper but still litte higher so they order a new unit and also made a wooden box with sound dampening padding in the box. Installed that and it made all the difference. This at no extra cost! Can 100% recommend this company if you are in process of install something that prevents your house or appartment from mold issues and you will cleaner air inside as well.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The humidity and mold in my home used to make life so difficult that I seriously considered moving out of Portugal. Installing the PIV system has changed everything. Most of the problem is gone and my home finally feels comfortable and enjoyable to live in.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jay and Roel have been tremendous to work with as we installed two systems into our new home. They worked seamlessly with our developer to coordinate installation and have been quick to respond to any operational questions since we moved into the home. Having lived here for over a month now, we are very satisfied with the results in mitigating the humidity and making our home comfortable. I highly recommend working with them for any projects to mitigate moisture.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just over 2 weeks ago we had the Flatmaster system installed on the ground floor of a large traditional style house. The main reasons for this was because of damp problems and bad odours. The kitchen on the ground floor is all real wood and when the cupboard door are closed a musty odour develops and become difficult to eliminate. Not all the rooms on the ground floor have a decent amount of natural sunlight and are prone to damp patches due to bad air circulation. Damp Guard were very understanding of the situation and knew exactly the solutions we needed. I am pleasantly surprised at the results and at the final cost for the system. Although it has only been installed for less than 3 weeks I can already feel the difference it is making. The air quality has improved considerably and the smells are already disappearing. After living in Portugal for nearly 20 years and regularly coming across these issues in many properties, I am pleased to have finally found something that works. The icing on the cake here are Jay and Raul, they are very professional, keep you up-to-date with everything and turn up exactly on time. I would highly recommend Damp Guard, that is why I am leaving a 5 star review.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I wanted to take a moment to say a big thank you to Roel and Jay from Damp Guard for an excellent service. They were both extremely professional, timely and did an excellent installation of the Nuaire Drimaster Eco in my house. They also left the house super clean afterwards. I've had experience with these devices before in another property and the results were excellent. If you have damp, mould and condensation issues, this PIV system will really help with your problem. Their rates are also much more competitive than other companies in Portugal. Thank you for helping us!!!Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
