Damp Guard was founded in March 2025 by Jorgen Wolf and Roel Luijpen, two expats from Denmark and the Netherlands who were tired of dealing with constant moisture problems in their own homes. After battling with dehumidifiers, wiping mold off the walls, and seeing condensation on the windows every morning, we decided to take action. We understood that many homeowners in Portugal, especially expats, were facing the same issues.
This frustration led us to create Damp Guard, a company dedicated to providing practical home ventilation solutions.
